Ganglión en ligamento cruzado anterior: a propósito de un caso

RESUMEN

Los gangliones intraarticulares son raros y habitualmente hallazgos casuales en las resonancias magnética y artroscopías. Presentamos el caso de un varón deportista con dicha patología en el ligamento cruzado anterior. Los síntomas más frecuentes son dolor, agravado con la actividad y limitaciones en el rango de movimiento. La resonancia magnética revela los signos típicos de ganglión y es la prueba más específica y sensible. La artroscopía se utiliza tanto para el diagnóstico como para el tratamiento de dicha patología. El diagnóstico tardío hace que la resección por artroscopía sea complicada o imposible, precisando en ocasiones un desbridamiento extenso del ligamento cruzado anterior.
