FRAGMENTO

La oclusión intestinal se constituye como una causa importante de atención médico quirúrgica, según estudios recientes esta enfermedad es la responsable del 15% de la totalidad de ingresos hospitalarios por causa abdominal.
Según estadísticas nacionales este diagnóstico es el séptimo más común como motivo de ingreso a los Servicios de Urgencias en el IMSS.
