Análisis de hipoacusia súbita basado en evidencias médicas

RESUMEN
La hipoacusia neurosensorial súbita idiopática es la pérdida inexplicable
de audición repentina y unilateral en la mayoría de los casos.
En la minoría de los pacientes, se logra determinar la causa y dar
el tratamiento específico. Es un padecimiento que afecta sobre todo
a la población adulta económicamente activa, por lo que tiene gran
repercusión psicosocial y económica. No hay un tratamiento estandarizado,
en consecuencia, el pronóstico y desenlace del paciente son
muy variables. En este estudio se realizó una búsqueda sistematizada
de la evidencia más sólida y actualizada en el diagnóstico y tratamiento
de la hipoacusia súbita para mejorar el desenlace del paciente.
