Hernias del manillar. Reporte de 3 casos

RESUMEN

Introducción: las hernias traumáticas de la pared abdominal causadas por el impacto del manillar son un tipo de hernia poco frecuente, pero con connotaciones clínicas y terapéuticas de gran interés.
Casos clínicos: se comunican 3 casos nuevos, 1 con diagnóstico al ingreso y tratamiento urgente mediante abordaje abierto anterior, y otros dos con retraso diagnostico de 6 meses y operados de forma programada mediante laparoscopia totalmente extraperitoneal. Revisión actualizada del tema.
Conclusiones: el diagnóstico debe completarse con una tomografía computada para descartar lesiones viscerales. El tratamiento depende de la gravedad de su presentación, en las formas graves o con lesiones asociadas con la cirugía urgente debe ser la norma, en los casos leves sin otras lesiones puede indicarse cirugía laparoscópica. Con este estudio se espera difundir los conocimientos de este tipo de hernia y favorecer su diagnóstico y tratamiento oportunos.
