Anestesia neuroaxial guiada por ultrasonografía en la embarazada

RESUMEN
La anestesia neuroaxial en las pacientes obstétricas asistidas por la evaluación ultrasonográfica del raquis ha proporcionado al anestesiólogo la posibilidad de ofrecer una anestesia de mejor calidad y mayor seguridad. Se revisaron publicaciones en MEDLINE y PubMed referentes al tema, incluyendo artículos de revisión y trabajos originales, para así poder elaborar una adecuada y clara descripción de la técnica para la localización e identificación de las diferentes estructuras del neuroeje con el uso del eco, y con ello, demostrar la importancia y las ventajas del uso de este equipo en la anestesia obstétrica.
