Linfomas no Hodgkin extraganglionares y extraesplénicos de la zona marginal del tejido linfoide asociado con mucosas (linfomas MALT). Características clínicas y patológicas en 76 pacientes venezolanos

RESUMEN
Revisamos las características clínicas y patológicas en 76 pacientes venezolanos con linfomas no-Hodgkin, extraganglionares y extraesplénicos, del tejido linfoide asociado a mucosas (linfomas-MALT). Cuarenta (52.6 %) fueron mujeres y 36 (47.4 %) hombres, con edades entre 16 y 86 años (mediana 51). Las localizaciones más frecuentes fueron: gastrointestinal (45 casos), anexos oculares (8), pulmones (7) y glándulas salivales (6). Las manifestaciones clínicas fueron inespecíficas y variaron de acuerdo a su localización. Los estudios inmunohistoquímicos en 22 casos mostraron características de linfocitos-B. Analizamos los hallazgos histológicos que permiten su identificación y la utilidad de técnicas especializadas en su diferenciación con diferentes lesiones benignas y malignas que los simulan.
