Sangre reconstituida, no fresca, en la exanguinotransfusión de un neonato con enfermedad hemolítica por Rh

RESUMEN
La exanguinotransfusión es un procedimiento con alta morbilidad y mortalidad, que se hace en neonatos con enfermedad hemolítica por Rh, para reducir las complicaciones, sobre todo de tipo metabólico. Se recomienda hacerla con sangre fresca total reconstituida, de preferencia con menos de 72 h de extracción. Se informa el caso de un recién nacido con 40.1 semanas de gestación con enfermedad hemolítica por Rh, por lo que fue manejado con exanguinotransfusión utilizando sangre total reconstituida de 13 días.
