RESUMEN
El temblor es una oscilación rítmica e involuntaria que puede afectar uno o varios segmentos del cuerpo y es el movimiento anormal más común. Para su diagnóstico diferencial es esencial una historia y una evaluación clínica detalladas, identificando la distribución topográfica del temblor, sus condiciones de activación, amplitud y frecuencia. Sus causas son heterogéneas e identificarlas es fundamental para el tratamiento. Este artículo describe los síndromes de temblor más comunes y su tratamiento, así como varias estrategias para su diferenciación clínica.
