Hipereosinofilia secundaria a leucemia linfoblástica aguda B en un paciente adulto

RESUMEN
Antecedentes: Los síndromes hipereosinofílicos son afecciones en las que los pacientes
tienen aumento marcado de los eosinófilos en sangre periférica; esta alteración
puede generar síntomas o no en los pacientes afectados. Su causa es variable, puede
ser de origen neoplásico y no neoplásico.
Caso clínico: Paciente masculino de 65 años que manifestó un síndrome hipereosinofílico
secundario a leucemia linfoblástica aguda B, que fue abordado y tratado con
remisión completa de la enfermedad.
Conclusiones: En la hipereosinofilia una relación causal, el curso del tiempo y
las manifestaciones clínicas pueden no tener un reconocimiento sencillo, lo que a
menudo conduce a un estudio exhaustivo. Por tanto, el estudio completo tiene cabida
en la mayoría de los casos, ya que la eosinofilia reactiva-secundaria es un diagnóstico
de exclusión.
