ABSTRACT

Deep venous thrombosis is the third cause of mortality by cardiovascular disease, after acute coronary syndromes and cerebral vascular disease. Fibrinolytic therapy, combined with anticoagulation, are resources that improve respiratory function as well as pulmonar hemodynamics in patients with massive and sub-massive pulmonar thromboembolism.
