ABSTRACT
The fractures of the ankle are a very frequent suffering, in most of the times lesion of the syndesmosis takes place leaving uncertainty in the affected articulation, for the above-mentioned with great frequency make reduction of the fracture and stabilization with osteosyntesis material; one believes the nail intramedular “CM” of titanium blocked with screws for the reduction of fractures type B of Weber with lesion of the syndesmosis, we made tests in 15 cadavers, 5 without lesion some and 10 were produced fractures transindesmal and lesion of the syndesmosis, the one was placed it implants, they were observed and they corrected the technical difficulties that were presented during the osteosyntesis. We find that with this you implants it can carry out at one time the reduction of the fracture and osteosyntesis average of 28 minutes, the angles bimaleolar were corrected, the one is worth of the fibula and decreased the diastasis tibioperonea distal that took place experimentally; it was determined that the most frequent technical difficulty was the blockade of the hole proximal and we attribute you to flaw of the personnel’s surgical technique that we carried out the procedure. This is a report of a surgical technical procedure in the placement of the nail centromedular “CM” of titanium carried out in cadavers like a previous step to the placement protocol in patient alive.
