ABSTRACT
Introduction: This research studies the relationship between specific physical activities in judo and changes in heart rate after receiving physical and technical loads, with the judo team of the Universidad de Ciencia Médicas de Holguín (UCM) during preparation of projection techniques towards transition positions. Objective: To assess, through heart rate variations, recovery of the work with specific loads during the special preparation of UCM judokas.
Methods: Scientific methods were used, such as theoretical, empirical, and mathematical statistics, which allowed conceptualizing the problem with breadth and depth; by gathering the necessary information, the proposal constitutes a working tool for trainers at all levels with the procedures and methods used to evaluate functional changes produced by external incidents.
Results: With the tests carried out corresponding to the preparatory period, it was determined that in all three there is a tendency to improve the heart rate towards the second test, with significant differences when comparing them statistically, since the approaches to the frequency in the resting state do not mean the ideal level of recovery for this stage, which is a reflection of the evaluation of the test of % recovery of the heart rate.
Conclusions: From the variations that reach the heart rate and the intensity planned in the stages, the ranks are established from the age, since it is considered that in these ages the judocas reach values equal to those of first category teams.
