ABSTRACT
Face-to-face teaching is a social practice that has undergone dizzying changes due to the condition of confinement that currently marks daily life. Reflecting on this practice allows us to think about the challenges for face-to-face university education and its links with the educational ideals of contemporary societies. The reflection is carried out considering three questions: the historical meaning of the culture-education relationship, the conditions of subjectivation that, based on the change in the school setting, place in the educational act various aspects on the living conditions of contemporary societies and finally consider the relationships mediated by technological objects as a practice of regulation of subjectivity. The particularities of the presence of an event that redefines social relations are pointed out, which it is proposed to recover as an event where the novelty that breaks out allows reflection rather than the naturalization of the facts. Education is historically recovered, which allows locating the discourses that account for this process and the cultural logics to which it is ascribed, sedimentation of the sense of incorporating the human being to the particularities of the social order of belonging, the contributions are also indicated of some critical authors that allow us to think about education and its relationship with the world of representations and its relationship with the modes of subjectivation, showing other ways of linking culture with education. The teacher is recovered, that educator / incorporator, the place from where he builds his professional function, the disruption of his daily life and the emergence of new practices to be carried out to fulfill his task.
