ABSTRACT
Universities have a main role in the training of professionals capable of facing the changes and the increasingly high demands of the society during 21st century. Studies have confirmed the existence of a high degree of spontaneity of the professional skills system structure, and a fragmented characteristics of the actions and operations that are carried out throughout the teaching-learning process for its implementation, they are those related to the exercise of the profession and they are defined in terms of the assimilation by the students that go from ways of action of activity related to the field of their future work. Based on knowledge of the career to habits inherent their profession and values that must be formed. Important contributions can be made from the treatment of the different curricular contents to achieve these skills either implicitly or explicitly. In the present work an analysis of the different conceptions on the concept of professional ability is made in order to arrive at a new position on this concept, a proposal is made of how the actions and the operations of the professional skills can be obtained by the heuristic principle of analogy taking as a reference the process of concept formation and presenting, by way of example, the actions and logical operations of a professional skill, vital aspects to achieve the formation of these important skills.REFERENCES
