ABSTRACT
The Education at Work of the subject Health Promotion of the Main Integrative Discipline is specified in the appropriation by the students of the necessary tools in the promotion and education for health, in correspondence with the requirements for the improvement of the Curriculum D. With the objective of designing a strategy for Work Education in the subject, an action research was carried out at the Latin American School of Medicine, in the second semester of the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic courses. The sample consisted of 1 439 freshmen of the medical career of this university, of the 2016-2017 course and 564 of the 2017-2018 course; 12 teachers, 15 executives of the educational process of this medical school, the basic and primary secondary schools of the communities of Santa Fe, Playa and Baracoa, Artemisa and formal leaders of the Popular Council of the Circumscription of the community of Santa Fe, Playa. Theoretical methods such as historical-logical and analytical-synthetic analysis were used. As an empirical method, interview and observation were used. The strategy allowed to complete the system of skills of the subject, to strengthen the work from the curricular and extracurricular activity, evidenced in the academic results and the impact of the educational activities in the school and labor population of the educational agencies of the communities, which He promoted the assistance work carried out by the specialist of Comprehensive General Medicine in Primary Health Care.REFERENCES
