ABSTRACT
Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) has become an important public health problem due to, on one hand, its high prevalence and comorbidity and, on the other hand, the high cost of intervention, which is basically pharmacological in Primary Care. Therefore, in this article an intervention proposal is made for GAD based on Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy through an Internet guided self-help treatment protocol. Its main objective is to reduce the cost / effectiveness of the treatment. Throughout the article, the proposed protocol is described, and the method that would be carried out to obtain empirical evidence is referenced. Finally, the expected results are exposed and discussed.
