Could the COVID-19 pandemic become a syndemic in Mexico?

ABSTRACT
The pandemic that has generated infection by SARS-CoV-2 and its nosological entity
called COVID-19 has currently claimed (June 2020) more than 7,500,000 confirmed
cases with more than 430,000 deaths worldwide, affecting more than 188 countries
in which Mexico has not escaped, reporting more than 130,000 cases, with 15,500
deaths.
