ABSTRACT
The Kawasaki disease is a systemic vasculitide of probable infectious etiology, that it includes an immune response in cascade with clinical disease characterized by high fever persisting at last five days and the presence of at least four of the following principal features: conjunctival injection without exudates, cervical lymphadenopathy no supurative, changes in lips and oral cavity, polymorphous exanthem, changes in extremities like acute erythema and edema of hands and feet with late desquamation of fingertips. This work is a bibliographical review with the intention of offering information update to the professional of nursing.REFERENCES
