ABSTRACT
Child abuse, which has been recently identified as pathology, causes deaths and important injuries in pediatric population. Most of the cases present as isolated injuries and seldom are integrated as a part of the syndrome of child abuse. As orthopaedic surgeons, we are obliged to know the clinical manifestations of child abuse, as to be able to identify those children at risk.
