Maltrato al menor y sus manifestaciones ortopédicas

RESUMEN
El maltrato infantil, reconocido como una patología hasta hace pocos años, es causa de muchas muertes y lesiones importantes en la población pediátrica. La mayoría de los casos pasan como lesiones aisladas y no siempre se integran como parte del síndrome de maltrato al menor. Como ortopedistas estamos obligados a conocer las manifestaciones clínicas del maltrato al menor para identificar a los niños en riesgo.
