ABSTRACT
Myofibroblastic tumors in head and neck include a wide variety of rare mesenquimal lesions that represent less than 1% of tumors in this area. Most lesions are reactive and benign, although some can have an aggressive clinical behavior and simulate a malignant neoplasm such as sarcoma, being the reason for a correct diagnosis and treatment.
