Adenosquamous carcinoma of pancreas. Case report

ABSTRACT
Carcinoma of the pancreas has an incidence of 7.5 at 10 per 100 000 person years, is one of the more lethal malignancies neoplasm. Adenosquamous carcinoma which has been called mucoepidermoide carcinoma, is a rare subtype, accounting for 1 to 4% of exocrine malignancies, and is characterized by the histologic patterns of both ductal adenocarcinoma and squamous carcinoma. We describe a case of a women 53 years old with signs and symptoms the thrombosis deep veins of right lower limb. The disease progress up a more rapidly aggressive clinical course and death after 30 days, post mortem study reveled adenosquamous carcinoma of pancreas.
