ABSTRACT
Age, genomic syndromes and treatments that result in gonadal toxicity can affect reproductive capability. Fertility preservation is an option for reproductive age population, depending on the pathology and social environment. In the last decade, fertility preservation has been increasing due to oncological and non-oncological reasons, meeting the demand will be a challenge in the future. A timely reference to a specialist is becoming essential. Currently, several techniques with high success rates had been established.
