ABSTRACT

The Cold agglutinin syndrome is a type of autoimmune hemolytic anemia of a low incidence, produced by antibodies which react at low temperatures with the own red blood cells of the patient, destroying them. But rare even is his appearing like paraneoplastic expression of a diffuse large B-cell lymphoma of thyroid.
The case is of a feminine patient of 65 years old with clynical, laboratory and histopatological findings of both illnesses.
The patient received quimiotherapy treatment for eight cycles, which produced a complete response of the malign illness and of the associated Hematologic Disorders. At present the patient is asynthomatic and controlled.
