Dental transposition is defined as the interchange of position between two adjacent permanent teeth. It is more prevalent in the upper maxillary arch (70%-80%), at the left side, in canines and premolars. Women show a higher incidence of this condition. We report a clinical case of a female patient aged 16 years with profound bilateral hearing loss syndrome who presented with bilateral maxillary tooth transposition of teeth #13 and #23, which are located toward buccal side of premolars. She also had absence of tooth #21, presence of teeth #53 and #63, and decay of third grade at tooth #46. We performed a multidisciplinary treatment including orthodontics using edgewise brackets (0.018-inch slots), endo-periodontal treatment and dental prostheses, and finally fixed retention.
