Determination of a new biomarker for forensic analysis of ethanol

ABSTRACT
The investigation of ethanol brings with it a series of problems at the time of its analysis and its forensic determination, this because of the average life it presents, which prevents its determination in a certain sample if a long time has elapsed, consequently proposes an alternative study and determination of ethanol, which allows us to determine its presence indirectly, knowing biochemical parameters. In this case a new method of analysis and identification proposed by Rocabado G. and Rocabado O., based on the determination and quantification of nicotinic acid, this concentration is outside normal parameters, directly influencing the synthesis of the Co Enzymes (NAD, NADP), as an indicator of the existence and consumption of ethanol, surpassing the current problems of time limits for the collection of a sample destined for this analysis.
