ABSTRACT
Introduction: The attention of the workers’ health should be prioritized in the analysis and search of solutions that they privilege the conduction of the National Program of Occupational Health. Objectives: To propose surveillance system for occupational exposure to dusts of mineral origin. Material and method: It was carried out an observational descriptive study where the techniques of the documental revision, storm of ideas, and diagram of Pareto were used; womb of balance of force for the diagnosis and situational analysis. Results: It was evidenced the presence of the dust like pollutant in 83.8% in the positions of the workers' work that were attended the room of professional illnesses. A strong relationship exists between the strength and opportunities, being the political will the bigger specific weight; in the relationship strength and threatens the weight was given in not having doctor or nurse in most of the labor centers, evaluated of strong; the relationship weaknesses and opportunities demonstrated that the technological obsolescence represented a restrain. Nevertheless the relationship of the internal and external balance indicated us that the or-ganization advances. In the investor political of the economic lines, chapter IV, the biggest weight relapsed. Conclusions: A conceptual map was obtained that establishes the interrelations of the whole process to arrive the care of the workers’ health that constitutes the proposed surveillance system.REFERENCES
