ABSTRACT
In this days the high incidence of traumatic pelvis injuries are 1% of all
the patients in Mexican Red Cross. This kind of injuries is high prevalence
in young adults, productive age, male, and more are often high velocity
impact by motor vehicle. This patients arrived into our Hospital under 3
hours of the traumatic episode, by a good prehospitalary attention, and very
low incidence arriving by their parents and high incidence require external
fixation in the red room, a good stabilization with the ATLS protocol and a
vigorous RCP of the politrauma patient, our patients require inclusion,
exclusion criteria, with 17 patients 16 male, 1 female in a period between
1st January and 31st December 2003 and the results was 53% undergoing the
red room and 47% in the emergency room, and also include de M. Tyle
Classification with 35% A Type, 53% B Type and 12% C type, 53% patients
with external fixation in red room, 47% were not require external fixation,
they also include another injuries most high prevalence, like thoracic trauma,
Craneoencefalic trauma, abdominal blunt, therefore many patients were
introduced to a surgery for the final treatment of pelvic ring injuries.
