ABSTRACT
Inside the acute breathing infections, bronchiolitis is frequent cause of morbility in the boy smaller than 2 years of age, for what is a problem of health. Their main etiology is viral and its pathogeny is explained by the action of the viruses in the breathing epithelium. The syncytial breathing virus is the most isolated pathogen, although recently other viruses like causal agent have been reported. This work with the objective of characterizing the etipathogeny of the acute bronchiolitis was performed, for that which 50 bibliographies were revised, reaching a better understanding of the topic.
