ABSTRACT
The antiphospholipid syndrome is a current issue on public health since it’s prevalence around 1-5% in the general population. This situation combined with the limited knowledge that we have about this disease places it’s placed in a matter of interest for the health sector. The clinic manifestations of this pathology could manifest in a wide range of symptoms and signs being the most representatives such as the arterial and venous thrombosis with more frecuency in the limbs and also fetal loss before the 10th week of pregnancy. For the diagnosis of this disease is necessary to prove the presence of thrombosis or fetal loss within the elevation of biomarkers of coagulation called antiphospholipids antibodies. The treatment for patients that present this pathology has been a challenge to found the balance between the hemorrhages or the development of the thrombotic disease.
