ABSTRACT
Introduction. The presence of inserted gingiva favors the maintenance of gingival health, but the presence of gingival recessions
causes aesthetic problems or dental hypersensitivity. There are different surgical procedures that allow to achieve root coverage
in multiple gingival recessions, for a long time the free gingival graft was used, however there are currently techniques that
allow better aesthetic results, for example the coronal flap flap technique is a procedure that has the advantage of being able
to be used for multiple recessions and with good aesthetic results.
Clinical case. In this article we present two clinical cases,
both male patients, at the interrogation they showed to have dental hypersensitivity being the reason for consultation, according
to the periodontal examination multiple recessions gingival class I, II and III of Miller are observed, to carry out The radicular
coverage was decided to apply the coronal displacement flap technique, since it allows us to perform it for several teeth in
the same surgical procedure.
Conclusions. In both patients, good aesthetic results were obtained in addition to considerably
reducing dental hypersensitivity, this being the reason for consulting both. The degree of root coverage depended on the type
of gingival recession according to the Miller classification, b eing more predictable in class I and II gingival recessions.
