ABSTRACT
Introduction: the aging of the population is faster now than in previous years, so it is necessary to study the quality of life in these ages. Objective: to know the quality of life of aging adults in patients over 60 years of the University Polyclinic "Omar Ranedo Pubillones" from March 2016 to March 2017. Method: an observational, descriptive study was carried out in a sample of 121 patients selected by the simple random method. A data collection form was compiled (age, gender, comprehensive geriatric evaluation and incorporation into grandparent home). The results were represented in numbers and by hundreds, using tables. Results: men predominated, from 65 to 69 years old, married, being, also, the low incorporation to the home of grandparent in this area of health. Conclusions: it is necessary to be incorporated into the circles of grandparent where the integral evaluation is carried out, which makes the quality of life better.
