ABSTRACT
Introduction: the population and health professionals need knowledges about the management of ecosystems and its relationship with the increase of antimicrobial resistance. The evaluation of the risks by the MGI is required. In accordance with this, it is a priority of the Cuban government and its national health system to ensure the quality of life of the population. Objective: to argue the need for knowledges on the part of the population and health professionals on the relationship between the degradation of ecosystems and increase antimicrobial resistance. Method: an intentional qualitative study was carried out to give a theoretical-practical answer to the problem. The study of the variable level of knowledge about the problem under investigation was based on the methodology of Hernandez H, Ávila F and others. Criteria were explored on ecosystems, its degradation and the results of this in the increase of antimicrobial resistance. Results: knowledges about the degradation relation in the ecosystems increases, antimicrobial resistance increase favoring the advance in the fight against this health problem, expressed in the development of consciously responsible modes of action that promote the achievement of high health education in our communities. Conclusions: it was satisfactory, the quality of health promotion actions derived from this work improved the integrality in the management of antimicrobials that favor a higher quality of life in harmony with the environment of our communities.
