ABSTRACT
Acute generalized pustular bacterid is defined as a symmetrical acute pustular rash with acral distribution, sterile and self-limited, that appears one or two weeks after a streptococcal pharyngitis. We report the case of a 53-year-old male with a clinical and histological diagnosis of acute generalized pustular bacterid and no history of pharyngeal streptococcal disease. We consider this contribution to be important on account of the rareness of this entity and the scarceness of available literature about it.
