ABSTRACT
Darier White’s disease is an autosomal dominant disorder, characterized by abnormal keratinization, that is caused by an alteration in the calcium metabolism, because it is a relatively rare disease, no guidelines for its treatment do exist. We present the case of a 36 year old male patient, with diagnosis of DWD treated with oral isotretinoin (0.2 mg/kg/day) who showed a 90% improvement aft er four months of treatment, we propose that low dose isotretinoin is an eff ective therapeutic option that minimizes the incidence of side eff ects.
