ABSTRACT
Introduction: The hemangiopericytoma is a rare vascular neoplasia in the head and neck, being the most common place nasal cavity and paranasal sinuses; less common in nasopharynx, maxilla, mandibula, orbit, cranial base, oral cavity, middle line, infratemporal fossa and cutaneous.
Method: The aim of this work is to present the case of a 58 year old woman with a history of a nasal obstruction, rhinorrhea and epistaxis. She had a hemangiopericytoma in left nasal fossa.
Results: She was treated with surgical resection and a subsequent radiotherapy, with a good response to treatment. A literature review of this pathology is presented.
