ABSTRACT
Aquagenic syringeal acrokeratoderma is a rare
condition that usually affects predominantly females.
It comes in hands and sometimes in feet also, is
triggered by contact with water for more than two
minutes. It is characterized by maceration of the skin
on the palms and these lesions vanish in a short time
after they dry. Its pathogenesis is unknown but the
diagnosis is clinical. We report the case of a 9 year old
girl considering that this disease is rare in pediatrics.
