ABSTRACT
A descriptive and cross-sectional study of 42 patients with adverse reactions to medications, assisted in “Conrado Benítez” Teaching Oncological Hospital of Santiago de Cuba was carried out during the second semester of 2016, aimed at determining the most frequent ones, as well as the drugs that had a higher effect on such reactions. In the series, most of these reactions were notified by the graduates in pharmacy (76.2%) and among them the leukopenia, pruritic eruption, shivering and tachycardia were the most notable. On the other hand, the predominant pharmacological groups were the antineoplastic and immunosupressant ones, of which cyclophosphamide was the drugs of more incidence, followed by red blood cells concentrate and calcium gluconate, respectively.
