ABSTRACT
Unilateral laterothoracic exanthema (ULE) is a dermatosis of cause not yet well defined, in which a viral etiology is suggested; it is characterized by the presence of numerous erythematous papules that start on one side of the trunk, and then become generalized, affecting women, more frequently between one and five years old. Up to now, approximately 300 cases have been reported in the literature, which characteristically developed during the spring, being associated with infection of upper airways.
In this article we report the case of a 3-year-old girl with ULE, with the antecedent of a previous infectious picture.
