Need for effective communication labor environment of the Directors at the Medical University of Granma

ABSTRACT
Introduction: Current demands and challenges of the Cuban Medical University in the 21st century reveal the need of preparing oral communication of managers as an essential tool in the projection of work.Objectives: to develop a communicative strategy for the executives of the University of Medical Sciences of Granma.
Methods: Empirical methods such as documentary analysis are used: revision at the teaching secretariat of the postgraduate records to verify the participation of the managers in courses related to subjects of mother language, observation to verify the level of development in oral communication before, during and after the activities; surveys applied to workers to verify the conception of the phenomenon and the interview to managers and workers to know the ideas about the research work.
Findings: Not all managers maintain effective communication with workers nor are they prepared in the mother tongue.
Conclusions: the main difficulties are identified, in order to achieve an effective communication in the management of the University of Medical Sciences in Granma. A communicative strategy proposal is made.
