ABSTRACT
The current study is an expert in the field of forensic psychology applied to the area with legal implications. The objective was to determine the competence and psychological ability of a woman who wanted to have the custody of her son. A case study with the appropriate methodology was conducted, from the approach to the objective, the psychological areas evaluated, the interpretive framework, the instruments, the results to the conclusions of the study. The theoretical approach used for the interpretation of the information obtained was the psychodynamic, the cognitive behavioral and the statistical description. "Karla" is the name that was used to safeguard the confidentiality of the subject. The result of the study was that "Karla" has difficulty sustaining a relationship with a minor. The applied tests show, that she is unable of handling the pressure of her environment, difficulty to adapt to situations that demand responsibility and a maladjustment to work.REFERENCES
