ABSTRACT
The development of milium cysts over a tattoo is probably not infrequent because they develop as a consequence of the tattooing process itself. However, the references in the literature are sparse. We present the case of a patient who developed autoresolutive milium cysts on a tattoo. On the dermoscopy, we observed white-yellow clods and rosettes without a predilection for any color. A histologic study was made because the clinical suspect was molluscum contagiosum, another skin pathology that may occur on tattoos. We think that it is important to know this entity to avoid unnecessary treatments.
