Síndrome de Birt-Hogg-Dubé

RESUMEN
Masculino de 54 años con múltiples neoformaciones milimétricas, blanquecinas, en el rostro y cuello, asintomáticas. Presentaba un cuadro de dos neumotórax espontáneos, sin causa aparente. La biopsia confirmó la presencia de folículos pilosos distorsionados envueltos por un estroma laxo basófilo mucoide, identificado como fibrofoliculoma. Con base en la historia de neumotórax espontáneos, biopsia de lesiones cutáneas y estudios genéticos, se confirmó el diagnóstico de síndrome de Birt-Hogg-Dubé.
