ABSTRACT
Food allergy is a condition that has increased in prevalence in recent decades, the symptoms involves several organs and systems, being the skin most commonly affected, the severity of symptoms has a wide range, from mild reactions to life threatening events like in anafilaxis, early diagnosis can improve the quality of patients life since it can be avoided unnecesary restrictive diets. Physiopathology aspects, clinical features and current treatment are described.
