Feasibility of using the Surgical Apgar Score in urology, as a predictor of complications

ABSTRACT
A thematic review of the history of the measurement of Apgar in the newborn, created by Virgina Apgar in 1952. From then to the date have been applied by different surgical specialties and published their results from 2009. In the specialty of Urology it is also used since 2009 with the study of complications in radical cystectomies. It is not until 2015 that these studies applied to renal tumors are republished. It is considered that this predictive scheme of postoperative complications and death in the specialty of Urology has a high applicability and is the reason for its updating.
