ABSTRACT
The beginning of the century marked a worldwide turnaround of the constant war in new ways; nevertheless, these new ways were brewing since the second half of the last century. Whole Mexico and particularly Oaxaca's state shows this condition of war against populations who pretend to generate some autonomy and to put some distance from the big capital projects, which invade the territories of the communities whom historically had lived there. This essay describes the repressive environment in Oaxaca due to the struggles to defend land, water, air, and community way of life; also it’s a reflection about this state of war.REFERENCES
