ABSTRACT
Medical approach to the foreskin in pediatrics is still a matter of worldwide controversy.
On one hand are the defenders of routine neonatal circumcision, on the other are the
supporters of non-intervention before the end of puberty, and between the two of
them are a great many of therapeutic approaches. The present article critically
analyzes the different approaches and finally states the author's
modus operandi.
