CrossFit and spine

ABSTRACT
CrossFit is the most popular training of high intensity and practiced by people of all ages and all kind of population, like military corps in many countrys as an example USA as part of their basic training. However, it is common to see CrossFit patients in the everyday practice in the orthopaedic consult; so, many specialists believe that CrossFit is a dangerous exercise for the back, with heavy routines lifting heavy weights, mainly for the lumbar spine, which is one of the most frequently affected sites. This article search for the incidence and factors that makes a patient susceptible to a lesion and at what level of the spine is most frequent that a lesion occurs.
