ABSTRACT
This paper resumes the relevant aspects about clinical, pathophysiologic , radiologic diagnostic elements and treatment strategies in respiratory insufficiency in newborns that have reduced chronic lung disease, as well as basic support actions in these patients such as fluid administration, use of steroids, nutrition and several drugs with their bibliographic references.
