ABSTRACT
Surgery performed to the patient is our guide for the aftertreatment; this exclusivity of orthopedists dictates the applied techniques, type of graft, fixation methods and associated pathologies (meniscus, cartilage, etc.), in addition to the anterior cruciate ligament tear itself. We must have knowledge of all the information of what was done surgically to subsequently perform patient assessment, to begin the recovery process. To give high return to sporting activity consider two factors: the first is the natural physiological process of wound healing and the second is that it meets certain physical-technical parameters. We in the Physiotherapy Service will perform all these tests for athletes before giving a discharge, we divide them into three phases: a) office and imaging test, b) gym test and c) field test.
